The antique oil on canvas painting depicts a figural scene with 4 observable figures including two males and two females. There is a worn, rustic structure in the back ground with open fields and blue sky above.
A conversation can be seen taking place between the man standing with his back to the single horse drawn cart together with a female standing in front of him. A second man wearing a hat can be seen walking toward the cart from the opposite side of the dirt clearing. Another female figure can be seen behind the cart attending to a sheep.
The artist has meticulously depicted the landscape and figures.
Presented in a fantastic, decorative carved and gilt finished frame.

Frame: 37 1/4"H x 56"W
Condition: Some wear to the painting with craquelure commensurate with some age. There are losses to the gilt finish and segments of the wood frame which could be restored or hung as is for its antique effect.
