On four squared, fluted legs with wonderful neoclassical form including fluted pillars and panels on the side within gilt finished trims. The chest has two drawers with brass hardware and wonderfully gilt finished gesso ribbons and floral trim around each drawer. Additionally there is a slide shelf with two brass knob form pulls above the top drawer and below the table top.
Condition
Wear to the painted and gilt finished gesso and wear commensurate with age and use. The slide shelf has a stain to the top which could be re-painted.
