Fabulous antique, late 18th C. French, Burgundy, walnut extension dining table. Standing on four marvelously turned legs with circular bun form feet. The dining table features a fabulous turned stretcher bar which connects to all four legs via four turned walnut extensions from the central stretcher bar.
The table top presents exceptionally and has notches in the ends for extension leaves.
The table boasts two sets of extension leaves. The first are antique longer extension leaves and the second set of extension leaves are shorter and more contemporary.
29"H x 60"L x 40 5/8"W - Of table
24 1/2"L of each (2) leaves for a total of 49"L added with the antique longer leaves.
12"L of each (2) leaves for a total of 24"L added with the contemporary shorter leaves.
Condition: There are chips and nics and wear to the wooden legs commensurate with age and use in addition to the extension leaves needing a little muscle and finesse to slot in which could likely be repaired such that they slot in more easily but does not detract from the impressive walnut dining table which presents fabulously overall.
