Depicting a regal looking James Madison in period wear seated facing the viewer with beautiful hand colored green drapery behind him. Set in a giltwood frame.

Condition: Areas of discoloration and staining throughout but mainly toward the corners where the lithograph meets the mat. Also, minor losses to the gilding of the frame. Would benefit from a solid restoration involving lifting the print from its current mat to prevent further mat burn and re matting prior to re framing. A quality piece of Americana.
