Item Description
A rare hand-carved original condition Antique French Miniature Display Cabinet. With antique hand-written French labels on verso. A lovely diminutive carved fruitwood display cabinet with curved bonnet over a carved frieze with vines. A lower drawer over the skirt with carved floral basket flanked by openwork rosettes, ending in scrolled front feet. The glass door opens to a wallpaper covered interior with blue and white floral motifs and a castle landscape. A shaped painted top shelf and a middle shelf with carved front edge with openwork foliate scrolls.

Condition: Please see all detail photos. There are age-related discolorations to the door, drawer, bonnet and top frieze, lower shelf wallpaper stained, middle shelf molding with a stable age crack on the left and stains, top shelf paint worn and remnants of old paper on the very top, all mentioned for accuracy as the Cabinet displays very well.
