Fantastic versatile English gate-leg walnut drop leaf table. The incredible table has multiple arrangements including five leaves and multiple setting arrangements, including a fold-up fifth leaf. The drop leaf hinged table set on turned spindle legs opens to reveal 4 leaves while the fifth and final leaf is hinged with brass hardware and is only opened when the table is at it's longest configuration. The grain of the fifth, fold up leaf which has not seen the light of day in quite some time retains the lush deep stain of walnut the entire table would have had when originally constructed. The spindle legs open to give the table support in each of it's variations. Truly marvelous construction and engineering.
30"H x 36"W x 67" L (Total when fully extended)
In it's smallest form with the hidden fold up section stowed away and both leaves dropped the table measures an astonishing 24.5"L instead of the 67"L when fully opened.
Without the fifth fold up section the table measures 53"L
Condition: Overall good, the table could use a fresh coat of polish to obtain the lush color the fold up leaf has retained. Certain to please any antique furniture fans in your life!
