A handsome antique pedestal table showcasing a wide circular table top with a cream embossed leather center. The apron is fitted all around with drawers sporting fine shoestring inlays simple key escutcheons, and double knob handles. Raised on a stately fluted column tapering to a trefoil base on distinguished brass bun feet.
Labeled with Michael Butler Ltd. Antique Furniture Galleries (Dublin/London, fl.c. 1870-1900) stamp underneath.
Dimensions: 47.5” diameter by 29.75” high.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use and restoration is recommended. The central pedestal does not match the table. The metallic binding around is bent and lifting. Some of drawers do not close flush. Lifting and losses to the veneer. Heavily staining and sunned and worn leather top. Despite the wear the Table retains an admirable and stylish English Regency presentation.
