A charming antique fauteuil in stately Louis XVI fashion, well crafted in birch wood with a rich, warm-toned medium brown mahogany finish. The chair features a nicely carved top rail with an acanthus flourish at the center, leading into sloping arms with upholstered arm pads. The back and seat are also nicely custom upholstered in dusty rose hued fabric with lush scenes of butterflies and roses in soft pink, green, and yellow. Raised on straight, tapered front legs and gently curved back legs.
