Item Description
An antique Chippendale style mahogany flip top games table that converts from a console table to a longer table with a hinged flip top. Raised on four well carved mahogany cabriole legs with ball- and- claw feet and carved scrolled knees. The case with carved foliate scrolls with a shell center in relief to the recessed scalloped apron. The apron is finished with a gadrooned molding. The table has two legs that can be lowered from underneath. When the table is hinged open, the back extends back to support the second leaf.

Condition: Please see the detail photos. There are marks and wear on the front apron. The top is scratched. There is wear to the paw feet. The table appears able to be opened up more than the two leaves and may have been modified.
