With elaborate carved decoration and a lift up top. A running blind fretwork band around the top over a front panel with high relief carved motifs of twin scrolled open pavilions with floral motifs and umbrella crests. With a fine bronze stylized shell and scroll attachment in between. The lower frame with twin drawers with blind fretwork and relief shell and leaf decoration with keyholes (lacking the keys). The whole raised on a carved leafy running band and cabriole legs with leafy knees. On brass casters and with fine brass carry handles on the sides.
Good condition with some minor checking, some minor areas of loss to fretwork along the top edge.
Measures 39" h. x 53" w. x 28" d
crack to the top, lid is not flush with the chest
