Item Description
Antique scale comprised of cast iron base with a small hexagonal plate opposing a porcelain plate. The porcelain plate is decorated with a motif of two women, one of whom is blindfolded, and a lion with a banner above reading “Justitia Et Fides”. The scale comes with 6 weights ranging in weight from 0.25 lbs to 7 lbs.
Scale measures 16” x 10.5” x 8.5”.
Crazing and large horizontal crack to porcelain. Rust and general oxidation throughout, to both scale and weights.
