A wonderful antique American chest of drawers circa 1790-1820, finely constructed in pine with a rich cherry finish. In traditional form with a touch of Chippendale elegance, showcasing a rectangular top with a beveled underside overhanging six graduated drawers each adorned with double brass handles. Raised on bracket feet with scalloped details along the inner edges.
Condition
Presents well overall, especially for its age. With wear commensurate with age and use, including finish rubbing, scuffs, nicks, and a chipped loss to the scalloped detail on the left front bracket foot that does not significantly detract from the overall appearance.
