Fabulously carved and finished antique 19th C. Victorian mahogany shaped oval desk. Resting on two pedestal ends, with twin supports that rest on well carved bracket form supports, fit with bronze finished toe caps and casters. A wonderfully turned and finished stretcher bar spans the length from one end pedestal to the opposite end for structural support and a handsome decorative embellishment.
The case is in partners style with one working, functional drawer and one faux drawer on either side of the table.
Although it appears there are 4 total drawers, each with a bronze knob pull, there are in fact only functional drawers and 2 faux drawers.
The desk would be a great desk, or could even be used as a console table with it's handsome and antique appearance.

Condition: There are some surface blemishes and wear including one of the faux drawer's facade has come loose and should be re affixed so it does not come out. Other wear commensurate with age and use and with some care and small repairs the table will surely shine again.
