A stunning antique armoire in rich red-brown mahogany, ca. 1870. The armoire sports an elegant arched top with two large double doors beautifully paneled with figured veneers flanking a sophisticated tall and narrow arched recession at the center beam. The left door opens to a spacious interior with a clothes rack, while the right door opens to two wood shelves over two drawers with storage space open at the bottom. The design is finished off with stout bracket front feet and turned back feet, making for an elegant and sophisticated form. Key included.
Condition
One drawer is mising a knob and the front right foot has a loss to the inner finial that has been nicely smoothed, mitigating the distraction.
