This lot is composed of one larger, antique Qing Dynasty, 19th century Chinese export Bencharong porcelain bowl, together with three more modern 20th century matching tea bowls with lids and circular, flat saucer trays.
The Bencharong palette refers to porcelain typically from 18th and 19th centuries, which exhibit a fabulous polychrome enameled 'five colored' wares, mostly made in Jingdezhen.
The larger antique, Qing Dyn., 19th century bowl is wonderfully painted with deities to the exterior with a black ground and a dizzying array of decorative tecniques and patterns. A metallic, copper ring is affixed to the mouth rim.

The antique bowl comes together with 3 wonderfully matching, but more modern having been made more recently than the larger bowl.
The tea bowls with saucers and lids also all have a copper wire around the rims like the larger bowl and feature the same wonderful Bencharong decorative scheme and come with tea cup lids and circular flat saucers.

Condition: The larger, antique Qing Dyn., 19th C. bowl has a hairline crack stemming from the mouth rim down into the mid body of the interior bowl approx 1 3/4"l. There is wear to the enameled finish and minute nics to the foot rim. The three smaller, more modern teabowls and saucers have minor scratches and gentle wear to the enameled finish and one has a possible chip to interior can be seen in lot images. Despite wear presents well overall.
