An antique pair of World War I battle maps including the Order of the battle on Western Front, a detailed map of logistical positioning and military planning with an inscription that reads "Order of Battle on Western Front - 11 A.M. Nov, 11, 1918", and a smaller map of the Western Front dated June 28, 1918, which details areas of Iron, coal, steel works, furnaces, and salt within the Western Front geography. The pair of maps is accompanied by an antique envelope with a letter head that reads "War Department - Official Business".
Condition: Overall in good condition with expected signs of use given its age. Each map shows toning and fading to the paper, as well as creases at the folds. The smaller map shows a small tear at some of the folds, and the larger map shows some residue marks along the edges. The envelope is creased and shows some slight tears, as well as scuffs, fading, and toning to the paper.
