An antique oil on canvas painting depicting Napoleon standing in a lavishly decorated interior. Napoleon can be seen standing in the center, wearing a crown with immaculate attire including a draped red cape with gilt finishes. Napoleon is depicted leaning over a marble top desk covered in a green and gilt tapestry with maps and documents, one of which is is depicted clutching. Fabulous decorative details can be seen throughout the lavish interior, including an impressive globe to the left hand side.

Presented within a carved and gilt finished frame.
Condition: As Is. Loose in frame. Painting is patched and lined canvas; Heavy wear and craquelure with losses to the pigment.
Despite wear the painting is impressive in its presentation.
