"Anthony Burns: A History" by Charles Emery Stevens. Published by John P. Jewett and Co. Boston, 1856.

"A Visit to the Camp Before Sevastopol" by Richard C. McCormick Jr. Published by D. Appleton and Co. NY, 1855.

"A Digest of the Decisions in the Office of the Second Comptroller of the Treasury, Compiled under the direction of the comptroller" by George Chipman continued by John W. Butterfield, 1865.

Condition: In overall fair condition with paper toning, discoloration to hardcovers with wear around the edges. Minor water damage to "Anthony Burns." A few tears and minor losses to pages. "A Digest..." has flaking to spine cover and leather wear. The fly page of "A Digest..." is signed in ink by Major John Betts Hays (1839-1898) of Meadsville, PA. All books have handwriting on the title pages.
