Item Description
Historical hand colored woodblock prints published in 1912 by Pelllerin et Cie after earlier editions (1819-1863) of Pellierin's works.
With six battle scenes (two duplicates of Waterloo) each with text below, one of Naploeon and one of Marechal de France, both in dress uniforms. Along with an amusing scene with figures flanking a clock with a cock on top. And one Le Chemin de Fer.

Condition: some discolored edges, a few old tape marks, the one with the clock torn lower right corner, overall good
He was a French draughtsman, illustrator and printer. He is famous for the images of Épinal that he composed from the Revolution and that he printed himself from 1800. The images were published later in 1912 by Pellerin et Cie.
