A wonderful ochre and irridescent glazed pottery vessel, which could easily be uses as either a vase or umbrella stand. With streaks of irridescent glaze over a darker brown / ochre colored hue the vessel appears to shimmer in the light. The vase is signed underfoot on the unglazed foot.

Together with a wonderful metallic mounted glass vessel, also could be used as a vase or umbrella stand with a wonderul tim with a decorative band of feather formed pendulums hanging from the rim down the exterior. The feather formed decorations are in different sizes and hung at different lengths giving this object a wonderful life like quality. The metallic base and rim are painted black and gold which play nicely off one another with the glass cylindrical body.

Condition: Small losses to the painted finish of the glass and metallic vessel which can be seen in the lot photographs and other minor surface wear but as a group of two these vessels present extremely well
