Item Description
A stunning 19th century burl wood games table. Rectangular form with the top center panel sliding off to reveal a chess board on the verso and a backgammon board in the well beneath. A rectangular side panel drops down to reveal to small drawers flanking the center boards. One drawer is accompanied with antique backgammon pieces. Raised on a carved pedestal standard and mounted on a shaped base with four outstretched legs ending in casters.
Good antique condition with expected signs of use including some checking and minor lifting to some veneer along side. Feet with some scratches that can be easily concealed with corrective polish.
