Item Description
A late 19th century Victorian parlor chair in a dark wooden finish, featuring a shaped and pierced back that displays a carved and scrolled inlay pattern, and further accented by flanking carved motifs in relief, all of which lead down to a brown leather upholstered backrest and seat cushion enforced with nail head trim. Featuring an H stretcher support, and mounted on two splayed back legs and two turned front legs that end in caster feet.
Condition: Overall in good condition, with some expected signs of wear to the wooden finish. The leather is upholstery is well worn and faded, as indicated in photography, and shows two areas of minor loss at the edge of the seat cushion.
