Item Description
19th century Queen Anne style mahogany side chair. With a shaped and curving crest rail over a vasiform splat and slip seat with later upholstery. Shaped skirt with a centralized carved shell. Flanked by cabriole front legs with shell carved knees on pad feet, and raked back, supported by an 'h' stretcher.
Condition: With areas of loss and scraping to finish and wood; notably along the edges and corners, stained upholstery, slightly loose to the joints; please refer to photography. A lovely little chair that would benefit from new upholstery and a polish.
Measurements: 36 1/2"h x 17 1/2"w x 20"d, seat, 17 1/2" from floor
