Item Description
19th century mahogany secretary. The upper case with a cornice top, vertically inlaid apron with affixed beading over a pair of glass doors with astragal molding, 3 adjustable shelves. The lower case slant front desk with loper supports, interior small drawers and pigeon holes, 4 long drawers with brass backplates and bail pulls. Raised on bracket feet.
Condition: With checking, loss to finish and wood, wear, evidence of past repair, scratches and scuffs, drop down writing surface with a drilled hole, all of which are commensurate with age and use, and add to aesthetic. Please refer to photography.
