19th C. Wood engraving, Winslow Homer entitled "On the Beach at Long Branch, The Children's Hour" was published in Harper's Weekly in the August 15, 1874 edition. It depicts women and their children at the beach fully dressed with women holding umbrellas. Cabanas and a steamship are seen in the background. Mounted with paper mat and burl wood frame. Ready to hang.
