A handsome 19th century armchair showcasing carved and tapered legs all on brass casters. Wonderfully upholstered with a salmon to pink hued fabric affixed with brass tack nailhead trim. Arms with marvelous jaguar motifs with flared upholstered arm pads and rolled seat back with exposed wood frame.
Condition
There is a substantial break to the front left side where the curved arm affixes to the front leg. An additional crack with loss to the opposite arm at the neck of the big cat just in front of the brass tack nailhead trim.
