Polish poster for Babette’s Feast published by Director Gabriel Axel adapted the screenplay* based on a story by Isak Dinesen produced in 1987. The film won an Oscar as indicated towards the lower right. The horizontal large composition depicts the angel Gabriel floating amidst a dark background with a table towards the left displaying fruit and wine. Printed info in lower left, ‘ Poolfilm 1265/89 B-1, A-20, 3740.’ Displayed beneath glass in a gilt frame. Ready to hang.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including slight separation to frame in lower left corner and back paper is partially torn but otherwise in good shape. Wired el verso.
