About the Artist:
Torii Kiyonaga was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. Born Sekiguchi Shinsuke, he took on the name Torii to honor his adoptive father and teacher, Torii Kiyomitsu. His early works included billboards and depictions of actors, later creating illustrations for books and banzuke picture programs, though it was his depictions of beautiful women that garnered the most attention. He is known for creating diptychs and triptychs, as well as including Western perspective to backgrounds. Kiyonaga's works are included in the collections of the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, the Brooklyn Museum, Fairfield University Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and many others.

A few minor creases at the corners, but good colors and presents well overall.
