Joseph Webster Golinkin (American, 1896-1977) "At Chicago (Lewis and Braddock)" lithograph circa 1937 depicting a boxing match between Lewis and Braddock along with a referee pointing between them as fans look on in the background. Pencil signed lower right. A passage affixed to the verso reads, "Golinkin wins the all-around sports championship in art."
Presented custom matted, framed, and glazed.

About the Artist:
Joseph Webster Golinkin was an American artist known for working in watercolor and lithography depicting New York scenes and sporting events. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the United States Naval Academy. He served in the Navy and was later considered an active reserve Lieutenant Commander. His works were featured in the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Fortune, Country life, and more.
