From Nicholas Haydon, New York and Palm Beach ca. 1960's, a prominent dealer to the upper classes. These impressive enameled porcelain vases are footed, tall necked flattened ovals in shape. Decorated with shaped panels on the body and the neck featuring family groups on terraces and single figures at their tasks. All on stippled turquoise ground with pink and gilt flowers. The foot with small shaped red and white landscape panels. Mounted on gilt bronze, the tops with wreaths, the tiered oval bases with foliate bands. With bud finials for the twin lights.

Condition
Some darkening to the gilt but overall good with clear, fine colors. The pair of lamps do not have any visible cracks, damage or repairs. However if there is damage above or below the mounts it is not visible and because of how tightly the mounts are to the porcelain they are not easily removed for us to examine further.
