About the Artist:
Dale Rogers, as an artist strives to span the line between realism and abstraction, creating whimsical shapes and animal form sculptures that interact with the viewer in pleasing ways.
Rogers use of Stainless Steel and Cor-Ten Steel is because he has stated he feels the Stainless Steel is both versatile and beautiful and can absorb a variety of finishes. Combined with Cor-Ten steel, which the artist has chosen for its impressive low maintenance and long life properties. Rogers notes it is what urban areas, including the Federal government, uses to mostly construct bridges from. Cor-Ten is known to oxidize over time and additionally by oxidizing, the metal self seals. Rogers has noted of Cor-Ten steel "It offers an organic and simple element to the sculptures while the Stainless Steel brings in a little more pizzazz and punch."

Condition
The dog has been in the outdoors and displays weathering, dirt and earth where the base was underground and other wear but overall presents very handsomely.
