Dale Chihuly (American, b. 1941 ) “Red Amber Persian Pair” art glass sculpture depicting two fanned organic forms in striking, striated red and orange with black trims. The pair fit together over a black lacquered base to create an eye-catching floral form.
One of the two pieces bears an engraved Chihuly signature. See photo 24.

About the Artist:
Dale Chihuly is a renowned American artist working in a variety of media, most notably blown glass. Known for his innovating methods and pioneering vision, Chihuly first began his career with textile weaving. As he experimented with incorporating glass into the textiles, his journey into glassworks began. Chihuly has held exhibitions across the globe, dazzling and inspiring with unique experiences across Italy, Israel, Canada, and more.
