The scene is rendered in exquisite detail with a keen eye for tone, color, and texture. Vibrant green moss on a tree in the foreground draws the eye, while soft blue undertones in the snow compliment the sky above the canopies and beautifully contrast the warm peach glow of the sun to the right. Signed lower left.
