A gorgeous antique armoire exuding Louis XV elegance in an appealing honeyed brown hue. The armoire features an arched bonnet with gorgeous carved details including an acanthus leaf or shell flanked by vining flowers over double doors with finely beveled paneling leading to similar floral details at the center waists. The doors are affixed with ornate brass key escutcheons and open to two shelves within. Key included. Finished with an ornately bracketed apron raised on cabriole front legs.

Condition
There is a crack and and split to the crown which is in two pieces. Shelves come apart and can be reaffixed. Splits to lower mid-way up the left hand trim around an open reserve. Split to upper right reserve on front right door. Front right foot with losses additionally. The back right leg had cracked and was repaired previously with a metal structural support beam on the back right leg.rnrnThe cabinet was disassembled to remove it from the home and is currently de-pegged.
