Summer is the season for opening things up. Opening the pool. Opening day of baseball. (Okay, technically that happens in the spring, but it's for summer!) Opening an ice-cold beer as you enjoy dining al fresco under the shade of an open umbrella. At Black Rock Galleries, we love openings! So much so, that we are opening our courtyard for a few days this summer.

What? You didn't know we had a courtyard? Well, it's not very often that our customers have access to our courtyard -- in fact, it's only been open a handful of times. It's also so well hidden, that most people don't even know it exists.

Why, you ask? We've collected quite a collection of fabulous garden and outdoor pieces that are best showcased in the great outdoors ... the way they were meant to be seen. By the way, we also have quite an extensive collection of garden and outdoor decor, furniture, statuary, and more throughout our amazing showroom (inside), but that's a story for another day.

For example, check out these amazing vintage oak wine barrels or this beautiful carved concave cement bench. Much of the merchandise in our courtyard is not available on our online store and is only available in our showroom.

When will this courtyard opening take place you ask? Next weekend over three days, of course! So mark your calendars for:

-- Friday, July 28 (from 10-5);

-- Saturday, July 29 (from 10-5); and

-- Sunday, July 30 (special Sunday hours 12-4)
