ScoutReach is a division within the Connecticut Yankee Council that provides Scouting programs to underprivileged and at-risk youth in urban areas who would otherwise not be able to participate. In their mission to “Prepare youth for life” B.S.A. are strengthening communities through life changing experiences for youth and families, that build character, teach leadership skills, and instill a commitment of service to others that last a lifetime. ScoutReach helps to make that happen. ScoutReach assistance can provide camperships, uniforms, handbooks, transportation, and adult leadership.

The Sea Scouts program provides adventure, leadership training, and seamanship skills to 14–20 year-olds who have a passion for the sea right here on the southern Connecticut coast. Sea Scouting opens up the world of sailing and boating to participants, some of whom may never have experienced the joy of being on the water. For over 100 years Sea Scouting has promoted better citizenship through service experiences and has taught members leadership and boating skills through practice in water safety, on-water experiences, and knowledge of maritime heritage. Sea Scouts is a place to grow and learn, find adventure, develop a love of the water, and build long-lasting friendships.

• The majority of lots in this charity auction were donated by members, local businesses, and the Boy Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council and its affiliates. 100% of the hammer price on DONATED LOTS will directly benefits the Boy Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council. Several of the experiential lots (noted in the respective lot descriptions) are consigned by the Boy Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council throughout Blue Tree for this auction. On CONSIGNED EXPERIENCE LOTS, 100% of the hammer AFTER COSTS will directly benefit the Boy Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council (consignment cost noted in respective lots).
• BRG will collect a 3% buyers premium to cover costs associated with credit card processing fees.
• There are no transports options to BRG locations available for this charity auction.
• Winners of tangible lots will be contacted by Boy Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council to arrange pick-up (by appointment only) and/or shipping of lots (shipping arrangements are at the sole discretion of the CT Yankee Council).
