This extensive, radio controlled model airplane collection is the result of over 70 years of original craftsmanship by Fred (Angel) Mastrangelo, a one-time pilot and flight instructor. Mr. Angel won numerous awards from several of the Aero Modeler’s competitions he attended all over the United States. All of his models are handmade ... often to-scale replicas of the original planes, created either from plans or kits. In fact, Mr. Angel was described as one of the pioneers of model airplane building; often designing and patenting many of his own original ideas. Most of the airplanes in this collection have between 36"-60" wingspans. Wow!

This extensive collection offers everything from fully assembled RC aircraft (complete with radio controls) to unassembled kits (still in the original boxes) to a plethora of parts and accessories ranging from spare engines and spinners to wheels and float plane floats. This is a wonderful sale for avid collectors, hobbyists and beginners alike.
