BRG-Bridgeport also houses an antique and consignment showroom, The Showroom at BRG-Bridgeport, (formerly known as Black Rock Interriors) in Black Rock, CT in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, CT featuring an industrial loft-style location with 53,000 sq ft of furniture, quality antiques, fine art, unusual props and decorative arts.
The Showroom at BRG-Bridgeport is open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is open to the trades Tuesday through Thursday by appointment only and is conveniently located just off exit 25 of I-95 at 1720 Fairfield, Avenue, Bridgeport.
After almost 20 years in the antiques, auction, and consignment arena, Grant Panarese and Christie Spooner have combined their talents to create a one-stop enterprise based upon knowledge, honesty, and integrity. What began as the three-person operation in 2010 as Bridgeport Salvage Company in the Mill Hill section of Bridgeport quickly bloomed into a unique business offering a luxury consignment showroom, full auction and estate sale services, and expert appraisals.
By 2012, business growth pushed them to a new facility with over 53,000 square feet of showroom space and a new moniker, Black Rock Galleries. This success helped BRG expand into other locations including BRG-Greenwich, BRG-Southport, BRG-Boston, BRG-Raleigh Cary and BRG-Raleigh Apex.
In late 2022, BRG opened BRG-Southport to house their luxury goods operations which includes (complete with GIA Graduate Gemologists on staff) and processes a wealth of estate jewelry, luxury-tier designer fashions and accessories, sterling silver, coins, and more.
Most recently, in early 2023, the company moved its corporate headquarters into their newest facility, BRG-Fairfield. This building hosts the administrative HQ team and an auction warehouse for easy auction lot pick-up at 290 Post Road, Fairfield, CT. This move opened-up extra space at BRG-Bridgeport for antique showroom expansion.
