BRG offers the estate of Irma Giustino Weiss, wife of art collector Benjamin Weiss in it's July 18th online auction. She was an Upper East Side philanthropist who was well known in the art world and throughout the magazine publishing industry. As a graduate of The School of Art at Cooper Union, she was an active and generous alumna, establishing financial programs and scholarships for students to experience the unique and exciting art and cultural treasures of New York City. She was also a major donor to the Whitney Museum and Rockefeller University.
Irma also had a successful career in the publishing industry. She was the first female hired to the Art Department of Triangle Publishing, received two awards for Art Director at Ziff Publishing and went on the become a Creative Director for Conde Nast Publications.
The sale features a wonderful collection of artwork, decor and furniture that has graced their Sutton Place South home for decades. We welcome you to preview and bid on this wonderful collection.
