Item Description
19th century James Cope [London, England] octagonal wall clock. Mahogany with beaded edge and scrolled brass inlay encases a centralized circular glass paneled door that reveals a white-painted metal face with black Roman Numerals. In the center, the manufacturer's name as well as an engraving an Victorian-style estate. Accompanied with pendulum. Unknown working condition; not tested.
Overall good condition consistent with age and use. Some loss to veneer along the back edges, some lifting to brass inlay along right center of face. A fantastic piece sure to look graceful on any wall it adorns.
Clock measures 17 3/4" h. x 18 1/2" w. x 5 1/2" d.; pendulum measures 20 3/4" l.
